Cool hotel with great and gorgeous location and reasonably clean throughout. Modern and stylish room with a card key to ours, incredible employees at the Reception Desk. Variety of delicious breakfast options.

The location of this hotel is really close to the main shops, restaurants, and the old town. the hotel is also near Banje beach, which was perfect. - Ploce district was worth staying in. - the breakfast in the beach restaurant was excellent quality and warm. - We thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't want to leave.

Being next to Adriatic Sea and facing the old town of Dubrovnik and walking distance to the old town, the spa facilities in the hotel and the wonderful terrace where you can eat or drink and helpful staff makes Excelsior Hotel a perfect place to stay.

Brekfast finished too early for a holiday hotel at 10am and was definately not 5* with no fresh juice -just syrup and weak coffee. Generally the food was expensive and average at best.Ameliorated by lots of good eating places nearby.

The service at breakfast was excellent - with old world charm, waiters were anxious to help in any way they could. Our room had a wonderful view of the old walled city of Dubrovnik.

The reception on one occasion was not up to scratch - perhaps it was the end of a long shift!
